The Fifth Annual Qing Ming Festival will be a landmark gathering, coinciding with the construction of the Chinese memorial at Block 14. 

Join us for a community gathering that brings the traditions of Qing Ming to life through remembrance, storytelling, and shared reflection. 

• Together, we will honor the lives of those once—and still—buried at Block 14 by lifting up their histories and experiences. 

• The program will also include the Multnomah County Commission’s formal apology, offering a rare public moment of acknowledgment, healing, and connection across generations. 

• Witness the formal kick off of the construction for the memorial at Block 14.

• This year’s event will honor ancestors, share untold stories, and mark a historic moment of reconciliation.
